The ARTHUR HUNT group is defined by Arthur Hunt Participation, a simplified joint stock company, registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 383 486 552, whose registered office is located at 62 Avenue des Champs Elysées, 75008 Paris, France – Tel: 0156696696, and all its direct and indirect subsidiaries; hereinafter referred to as “the companies of the Arthur Hunt group” or “the Arthur Hunt group”.
The users of the website, hereinafter referred to as “Users”, are generally prospects, clients, candidates or potential candidates for recruitment or support services of the companies of the Arthur Hunt group. This document specifies how Users’ personal data are processed. All Users acknowledge that they have read and fully accept the information in this document when browsing the website or communicating by any means with the companies of the Arthur Hunt group.
Processing of personal data
The Arthur Hunt Group is concerned about the protection of personal data and undertakes to ensure the best level of protection of the User’s personal data in accordance with the specific legal and regulatory framework, essentially constituted for France by the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter “GDPR”) and the law known as the “Data Protection Act” of 6 January 1978.
The data collected
The information communicated by the User via the forms available on the website or contacts with the employees of the Arthur Hunt group are intended for the authorised personnel of the Arthur Hunt group for administrative and commercial management purposes. This data constitutes personal data, i.e. information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
The data is collected when the User enters it in the contact form available on the website. This data may include any information entered directly in the form or identifiable in an attached document (e.g. a CV or cover letter):

Purposes of the collection of personal data
The Arthur Hunt group collects and records personal data to carry out the following processing operations:
- To build a pool of candidates: registration and storage of the CVs of natural persons. The CVs may be used by employees of the Arthur Hunt group when searching for candidates for internal or external recruitment. External recruitment means recruitment search mandates on behalf of a client of the Arthur Hunt group.
- To answer the User’s questions and requests for information.
- To contact the User by email or telephone to discuss his/her professional situation. If the User has sent his/her CV and made contact with our employees, presentation of his/her CV to clients of the Arthur Hunt group.
- To send the User additional information, such as upcoming events or newsletters.
- In some cases, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, such as disclosure to official bodies, supervisory authorities or public and regulatory authorities.
- More generally, to allow the website to work.
The Arthur Hunt group considers that all of the above processing operations are necessary for the performance of its duties. Users are informed that if inaccurate or misleading data is provided, the services associated with the collection of this data may not be rendered, as the companies of the Arthur Hunt group cannot under any circumstances be held liable in this respect.
Data retention period
The Arthur Hunt group keeps the data for up to three years.
Data sharing
In order to respond effectively to Users’ requests and to the purpose of the personal data they provide, the data may be shared with:
- The companies of the Arthur Hunt group, as defined above.
- Clients of the Arthur Hunt group looking for candidates to recruit in the context of their professional activity.
- To any legal authority (government, police, regulators, law enforcement authorities), if it is considered that the Arthur Hunt Group is legally obliged or authorised to do so.
- In the context of obligations relating to (and related to the execution of) a merger, acquisition or any other commercial transaction, the User’s data may be transmitted to the seller or potential buyer and to their advisers.
Liability and rights
Although the Arthur Hunt Group undertakes to do everything possible to protect Users’ personal data, Users are informed that sending information via the Internet incurs a risk inherent in any transmission over the global Internet network. For this reason, any transmission of personal data is the sole responsibility of the User. The Arthur Hunt Group undertakes to use strict operational procedures and appropriate technical and organisational security measures, in order to limit any risk of unauthorised access, modification, deletion or transmission of such personal data.
Under applicable data protection laws, Users have the following rights:
- The right to access and obtain a copy of their personal data
- The right to correct their personal data
- The right to be forgotten/to delete personal data: this right is subject to any rights or obligations that may be granted by law on the matter of data retention. Where the request to delete personal data is admissible by law, this will be done as soon as possible.
- The right to object to processing: subject to a legitimate justification relating to the specific nature of their situation, Users have the right to object to the way their personal data is processed.
- The right to restrict processing: for example in cases where the accuracy of the personal data is disputed.
